Reddish Practices Monday, Status for Tuesday vs. Cavaliers Uncertain

Read on to know more about Cam Reddish's injury

The New York Knicks' Cam Reddish participated in practice on Monday as he recovers from a right peroneal strain. However, his status for Tuesday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers is still uncertain. Reddish sustained the injury in the third quarter of the Knicks' 114-112 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday. He left the game and did not return. The Knicks are hopeful that Reddish will be able to play Tuesday, but they will not rush him back if he is not fully healthy. "We'll see how he feels tomorrow," Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau said. "If he's not ready, we'll just go with the guys who are healthy." If Reddish is unable to play, the Knicks will likely start Quentin Grimes in his place. Grimes has started 15 games this season and is averaging 8.8 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. The Knicks are 26-23 this season and are currently in fifth place in the Eastern Conference. They are 1.5 games behind the fourth-place Miami Heat and 2.5 games ahead of the sixth-place Philadelphia 76ers. The Knicks will host the Cavaliers on Tuesday at Madison Square Garden. The game will tip off at 7:30 p.m. ET.
