Turner's 40 Points, 10 Rebounds Lead Pacers to Victory

The Indiana Pacers snapped the Toronto Raptors' five-game winning streak on Wednesday night, winning 122-114 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

The Raptors were led by Pascal Siakam's 28 points. Fred VanVleet added 24 points and 10 assists, and Gary Trent Jr. scored 23 points.

The Pacers got off to a slow start, trailing by 10 points after the first quarter. But they rallied in the second quarter, outscoring the Raptors 32-20 to take a 56-52 lead at halftime.

The Pacers continued to play well in the second half, extending their lead to 15 points in the third quarter. The Raptors cut the lead to seven points in the fourth quarter, but the Pacers held on to win.

The win was the Pacers' third in a row, and it improved their record to 12-13.

Turner's Career Night

Turner's career night was a major factor in the Pacers' victory. The 26-year-old center made 15 of 23 shots from the field, including 6 of 11 from three-point range.

Turner also grabbed 10 rebounds, blocked two shots, and dished out two assists.

Turner's previous career high was 34 points, which he scored against the Chicago Bulls on March 26, 2021.

Haliburton's All-Star Case

Haliburton continues to make a strong case for an All-Star selection.

The 22-year-old point guard is averaging 19.8 points, 10.2 assists, and 4.6 rebounds per game this season.

Haliburton is one of the most efficient players in the league, shooting 48.0% from the field, 42.2% from three-point range, and 87.8% from the free-throw line.

Raptors' Win Streak Snapped

The Raptors' five-game winning streak was snapped with Wednesday night's loss.

The Raptors are now 14-12 this season, and they are currently in sixth place in the Eastern Conference.

The Raptors will look to bounce back on Friday night when they host the New York Knicks.
