Georgetown Hoyas Fall to California Golden Bears
In a hard-fought game, the Georgetown Hoyas fell to the California Golden Bears, 73-61. Despite a valiant effort from Donald Carey, who led the Hoyas with 15 points, the team was unable to overcome a strong performance by the Golden Bears' Grant Anticevich, who scored a game-high 20 points.
Shooting Woes Hamper Hoyas' Offense
Georgetown struggled from the field, shooting just 37.3% overall and 25% from three-point range. The Hoyas also had trouble taking care of the ball, committing 15 turnovers.
Ejim and Turner Lead the Way
Despite the loss, Qudus Wahab and Primo Spears were bright spots for the Hoyas. Wahab finished with 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Spears chipped in 11 points and 6 assists.
Next Up for Hoyas
The Hoyas will look to bounce back when they host the Saint Joseph's Hawks on Saturday, December 10th. The game will be played at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. and will tip off at 12 pm.
