Clippers' Kevin Porter: Headed to the Locker Room
Los Angeles Clippers basketball player Kevin Porter Jr. exited Saturday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder after suffering an apparent left leg injury
Porter was injured with about 9:30 remaining in the third quarter as he drove to the basket. He was fouled on the play and went down hard. Porter was able to get up and limped off the court, but he was later ruled out for the rest of the game.
The Clippers did not immediately provide an update on Porter's condition, but the injury appeared to be serious. Porter has been a key player for the Clippers this season, averaging 10.6 points per game. If he is forced to miss extended time, it would be a big blow to the Clippers' playoff hopes.
The Clippers went on to lose to the Thunder 118-110. Paul George led the Clippers with 32 points, while Kawhi Leonard added 25 points. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 30 points.
The Clippers are now 32-30 on the season and are in seventh place in the Western Conference. They will return to action on Monday when they host the New Orleans Pelicans.
