Badgers' Impressive Victory Over Maryland
The Wisconsin Badgers basketball team secured a crucial 73-63 victory against Maryland on Tuesday night. Led by senior guard Brad Davison's 21 points and 6 assists, the Badgers controlled the tempo throughout the game.
Davison's steady play was complemented by contributions from junior forward Tyler Wahl (16 points) and freshman forward Connor Essegian (14 points).
With the win, Wisconsin improves to 14-10 overall and 7-7 in the Big Ten conference standings.
Key Recruits Visit Madison
In addition to their on-court success, the Badgers also welcomed two highly touted recruits to campus over the weekend.
Five-star point guard Cole Anthony and four-star center Frank Anselem both visited Madison and met with the coaching staff.
Anthony, currently ranked as the No. 2 overall recruit in the 2023 class, is considered one of the top prospects in the nation.
Looking Ahead
The Badgers will return to action on Saturday when they host the Iowa Hawkeyes at the Kohl Center.
Iowa, ranked No. 15 in the AP poll, will present a tough challenge for Wisconsin.
However, the Badgers are confident in their ability to compete at a high level and continue their pursuit of an NCAA Tournament berth.
