Forest Fire Service Combats Blaze Near Cove Court, Bancroft Lane
Hainesport, NJ (August 15, 2023) - The New Jersey Forest Fire Service is currently battling a wildfire in Hainesport, near the intersection of Cove Court and Bancroft Lane.
The fire ignited at approximately 3:00 p.m. and has already engulfed several acres of land. Firefighters are working to contain the blaze and protect nearby homes and businesses.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. However, officials believe it may have been caused by a discarded cigarette or illegal campfire.
