Residents of the Trans-Baikal Territory were able to witness the launch of the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle with the Progress MS-22 cargo spacecraft from the Vostochny Cosmodrome on October 9.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing a bright flash and hearing a loud roar as the rocket lifted off from the launch pad. The launch was visible from several locations in the region, including the cities of Chita and Ulan-Ude.
The Soyuz-2.1a rocket successfully placed the Progress MS-22 spacecraft into orbit. The spacecraft is carrying over 2.5 tons of supplies, including food, fuel, and equipment, to the International Space Station (ISS).
