Traffic Death in Los Angeles County Involving Putri Wardhana

Fatal Crash

On Tuesday, August 16, 2023, at approximately 10:30 PM, the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a traffic collision on the 110 Freeway near the Vermont Avenue off-ramp.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a white BMW sedan was traveling at a high rate of speed when it lost control and struck the center median.

The BMW then overturned and came to a rest in the middle of the freeway.

Driver Identity

The driver of the BMW was identified as Putri Wardhana, a 25-year-old resident of Los Angeles.

Wardhana was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office will determine the official cause of death.

Investigation Ongoing

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
