TechnologyOne scoops $115 million contract with the Department of Defence
Software giant TechnologyOne has extended its contract with the Department of Defence to provide the Australian Defence Force with its cloudbased financial management software.
The contract, worth up to AUD $115 million over the next nine years, will extend TechnologyOne’s partnership with the Department of Defence for another nine years, providing a full suite of financial management and reporting functionalities.
The deal will see TechnologyOne continue to provide its financial management software, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, budgeting, forecasting and reporting, to the Department of Defence.
The software will be used to manage the Department of Defence’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. It will also be used to improve the Department’s financial management practices and to reduce costs.
The contract is a significant win for TechnologyOne, which has been providing software to the Australian Government for over 30 years. It is also a major boost for the company’s growth strategy, which is focused on expanding its presence in the government sector.
“We are delighted to extend our partnership with the Department of Defence and to continue to provide them with our financial management software,” said Edward Chung, CEO of TechnologyOne.
“This contract is a testament to the quality of our software and our commitment to providing our customers with the best possible service.”
