Spain thrash Denmark 3-0 in UEFA Nations League
Spain got their UEFA Nations League campaign off to a winning start with a 3-0 victory over Denmark in Copenhagen on Saturday.
Goals from Mikel Oyarzabal, Marco Asensio and Pablo Sarabia gave Luis Enrique's side a comfortable victory in their opening Group A2 match.
Spain dominated the game from start to finish, with Denmark failing to register a single shot on target. Oyarzabal opened the scoring in the 29th minute with a fine finish from close range, after good work from Sarabia.
Asensio doubled Spain's lead in the 55th minute with a stunning long-range strike, before Sarabia added a third in the 73rd minute to seal the victory.
The win takes Spain top of Group A2, ahead of Portugal and the Czech Republic, who drew 0-0 in their opening match.
Spain will now face Switzerland in their next UEFA Nations League match on Tuesday, while Denmark will travel to Portugal.
