Channel One has announced the premiere date of its new adaptation of Yulian Semyonov's novel, "Противостояние." The 12-episode historical drama will air on Monday, September 25th at 9 PM.
The novel, originally published in 1973, follows a group of Soviet WWII veterans who join forces to fight against a terrorist group planning to launch attacks during the 1980 Moscow Olympics.
