Over 100 Fish Products Have Passed Quality Inspection on Sakhalin
Sakhalin authorities conducted an inspection of seafood products in the Okhotsk Sea. As a result, 114 batches passed the testing.
The inspections were carried out by the Sakhalin Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Administration. The study analyzed batches of canned fish, fresh, frozen, and live fish.
The main violations in the course of inspections were the lack of labeling or incorrect marking of fish products. After the violations were eliminated, re-inspections were carried out, after which 5 batches of fish products passed the quality and safety check.
According to the results of the research, over 100 batches of fish were sent to the shelves of retail chains in the Sakhalin region, as well as to other regions of the Russian Federation and abroad.
