West Ham have announced that midfielder Jack Paye has signed a new contract with the club.

The 20-year-old has put pen to paper on a two-year deal, with the option of a further year, and will now be part of the first-team squad for the 2023/24 season.

Paye is a product of the West Ham academy and has been with the club since he was nine years old. He has made 11 appearances for the first team, including four in the Premier League.

Speaking about his new contract, Paye said: "I am delighted to have signed a new contract with West Ham United. This is a club that I have always wanted to play for, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to continue my development here.

"I have learned so much from the coaches and staff at West Ham, and I am excited to continue to learn and grow as a player. I am determined to make the most of this opportunity and help the team achieve success."

West Ham manager David Moyes added: "We are delighted that Jack has signed a new contract with the club. He is a talented young player with a bright future ahead of him.

"Jack has shown great potential in the games he has played for the first team, and we believe that he has the ability to become a valuable asset to the squad. We are looking forward to working with him further and helping him to fulfill his potential."
