Manuel Mastrapasqua is an Italian photographer born in 1979, who lives and works in Milan. He has a great passion for cars, architecture and design which led him to specialise in automotive photography. He studied photography at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan and then worked as an assistant to some of the most famous Italian photographers.
In 2005 he started working as a freelance photographer and in 2008 he founded his own studio, Studio Mastrapasqua. His work has been published in major magazines such as GQ, Vogue, Vanity Fair, and Wallpaper*. He has also worked for major car manufacturers such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati and Alfa Romeo.
Mastrapasqua's photography is characterised by its strong graphic composition and its use of natural light. He likes to take photographs of cars in the street, where they live, and he often uses people in his photographs to give a sense of scale and movement.
