Early Life and Career

Johnny Gaudreau was born in Carneys Point Township, New Jersey, on August 13, 1993. He began playing hockey at a young age and quickly developed a reputation as a skilled skater and scorer.

Gaudreau played for the Dubuque Fighting Saints of the United States Hockey League (USHL) for two seasons, from 2011 to 2013. In his second season, he led the USHL in scoring with 102 points in 60 games.
