Derek Stingley Jr. looks like Cooper Rush's intended target on interception
Houston Texans cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. appeared to be the intended target on the interception thrown by Dallas Cowboys quarterback Cooper Rush.
The play occurred in the third quarter when Rush threw a pass that was intended for wide receiver Noah Brown. However, Stingley Jr. was able to intercept the pass and return it for a 23-yard gain.
The interception was a big play for the Texans, as it helped them to get back into the game. The Texans were trailing 17-3 at the time of the interception, but they were able to tie the game at 17-17 in the fourth quarter.
Stingley Jr. has been one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL this season. He has three interceptions in four games, and he has also allowed just 15 receptions on 25 targets.
The Texans are hoping that Stingley Jr. can continue to play at a high level and help them to make a playoff run. The Texans are currently 2-2, and they are in second place in the AFC South.
The Cowboys have lost two straight games after opening the season with four consecutive wins.
