Cristiano Ronaldo scores incredible goal, breaks records as Spain win group, Serbia stun Switzerland
Portugal superstar Cristiano Ronaldo scored a stunning goal and broke several records as Portugal beat Switzerland 4-0 to win their Nations League group.
Ronaldo's goal was his 118th for Portugal, moving him one ahead of Iran's Ali Daei as the all-time leading international goalscorer.
The 36-year-old also became the first player to score at five different men's World Cups.
Spain also won their group, beating Czech Republic 2-0, while Serbia stunned Switzerland 3-2 to qualify for the Nations League Finals.
Ronaldo's goal was a thing of beauty, as he controlled a long pass on his chest before volleying it into the net from the edge of the box.
The goal was Ronaldo's first in the Nations League and helped Portugal secure top spot in Group A2.
Spain also finished top of their group, thanks to goals from Alvaro Morata and Mikel Oyarzabal.
Serbia's win over Switzerland was even more impressive, as they came from behind to win 3-2.
Aleksandar Mitrovic scored twice for Serbia, while Dusan Vlahovic also netted.
The results mean that Portugal, Spain, Serbia and Switzerland have all qualified for the Nations League Finals, which will be held in June 2023.
