Chhattisgarh: CM Vishnu Deo Sai announces substantial cash incentives for ‘Olympic Medalists’ from state

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Monday announced substantial cash incentives for the state’s players who win medals at the ongoing Tokyo Olympics.
Baghel made the announcement while interacting with the family members of the players who are representing India at the Games. He said that the government will give Rs 2 crore to gold medalists, Rs 1 crore to silver medalists, and Rs 50 lakh to bronze medalists.
The Chief Minister also announced that the government would provide jobs to all the medal winners in the state government.
He said that the government is committed to promoting sports in the state and will provide all possible support to the players.
