Auburn basketball adds elite 4-star talent
Auburn basketball recruiting is back on track
After a slow start to the 2024 recruiting cycle, Auburn basketball has started to regain momentum. On Tuesday, Bruce Pearl and his staff landed a commitment from 4-star forward Jayden Williams.
Williams is a 6-foot-7, 185-pound forward from Phenix City, Alabama. He is ranked as the No. 33 overall prospect and the No. 6 power forward in the 2024 class by 247Sports.
Williams is a versatile forward who can play both inside and out. He is a good shooter with a soft touch around the rim. He is also a good rebounder and defender.
Williams is a big get for Auburn
Williams is a big get for Auburn. He is one of the top players in the state of Alabama and one of the best forwards in the country.
Williams' commitment gives Auburn a much-needed boost in the frontcourt. The Tigers lost both Johni Broome and Yohan Traore to the NBA Draft this offseason.
Williams is expected to play a major role for Auburn next season. He has the potential to be a star in the SEC.
