A ride at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California, malfunctioned on Saturday, leaving 22 riders stranded for two hours. The HangTime ride, which opened in 2018, is a steel roller coaster that features a 96-foot drop, seven inversions and top speeds of 57 miles per hour.
The ride stopped working shortly after 1 p.m. Saturday, leaving the riders suspended in the air. Firefighters were called to the scene and used a ladder truck to rescue the riders. No one was injured.
